Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets, the professional ice hockey team, was founded in 1972 in Winnipeg, Canada, as one of the 12 first members of the World Hockey Association. In 1996, the team was sold to the United States, where they played as the Phoenix Coyotes. In 2011, the Winnipeg Jets were reborn with the purchase of the nearly-dead American team, the Atlanta Thrashers. The team currently plays in the Central Division of the West Conference of the NHL. Their home base is at the MTS Centre, with a capacity of over 15,000 viewers, and their crest, which is an adapted version of the military roundel with a Jet on it, represents the links between the city and the Canadian Air Forces. Come and cheer for the Jets alongside their mascot, Mick E. Moose, buy here your tickets for the Winnipeg Jets.
