Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings' first home was Rochester, New York in the 1920s. In 1945, their name was the Rochester Royals and, in 1949, they became members of the NBA. They finally settled in Sacramento, California, as the basketball team Sacramento Kings, after passing through several cities, including Cincinnati and Kansas. Together with Slamson the Lyon (their team mascot) the Kings play their home games in purple, silver, black and white uniforms, in the Power Balance Pavilion or ARCO Arena, with a capacity for 17,317 people, 30 deluxe suites and 412 club seats, which has hung the sign stating 'no entries' for 354 matches of this team. The amazing offensive game of the Sacramento Kings made them appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated in 2001.
