The Champions League is Back

Wednesday, September 10, 2014

The starred ball will once again start rolling really soon: on September 16 at 8.45 pm, the great show put on by the world’s best club competition begins.

On September 16, 115 days will have passed since the day Iker Casillas raised the European Cup at the Estadio Da Luz in Lisbon, after Real Madrid won against their home rival, Atletico de Madrid, during the extra time of the final match held in Lisbon. The World Cup in Brazil has eased the long summer wait this year but, for the joy of football fans, the 2014/2015 Champions League is finally here!

Real Madrid, the current champion, Atletico de Madrid, last year’s runner-up, FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain, Juventus… the list of candidates for raising the much-desired “Big Ears” cup on June 6 2015 at the Berlin Olympiastadion, which will be the stage of the final match for this edition, is long and of an extremely high level. But only one team will make it, after traveling a long, hard road towards glory. And the road starts now, in September, in a group stage that always has a few surprises, and that attracts us so much because it lets us see in action not only the big teams of the continent, but also other clubs that are less famous but equally eager to make their way among the best teams, giving an exotic touch to the competition.

The Group of Death

The draw held in Monaco last August 28 presented a particularly difficult first stage for Manchester City, Bayern, Roma, and CSKA, which will compete on Group E, named right away the “Group of Death”, for two spots on the round of 16. The English and German teams are the theoretical favorites, but Roma and CSKA show potential for giving their opponents a few scares, and each game will feel like a small final. Ticket Bureau is official ticket agent for the main European clubs, of which a few play in the Champions: FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Atletico de Madrid. We have VIP tickets and packages available for you to enjoy the unique environment of a Champions match with official tickets obtained directly from each of the clubs. Buy your official tickets to see Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, where City will go up against Roma (30/09), CSKA (04/11) and Bayern (25/11) in great matches that will decide each team’s qualification for the round of 16.

Champions League Final 2014 Celebration

On a first look, it seems that Real Madrid will have an easier time defending their title. Their main rival in Group B will be Liverpool, with Basel and Ludogorets completing a small league theoretically untroublesome for the Spanish and English teams. The champion will have its debut on the 16 at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium at 8.45 pm, and at Ticket Bureau, as VIP and Hospitality official agent of the club, we offer VIP tickets and packages for this and every match that the white team plays at home. Pay close attention to the match on November 4, Real Madrid – Liverpool, one of the most attractive ones of the group stage.
Actually, every group of this first stage has interesting matches in store for us: Group C includes Zenit, Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and Benfica; Group D, Arsenal, Galatasaray, Anderlecht, and Borussia Dortmund; Group G, Sporting Lisbon, Chelsea, Schalke 04, and Maribor. Group H includes Shakhtar Donetsk, Porto, BATE Borisov, and Athletic Bilbao, which inaugurate their new San Mames stadium, completely finished, playing the top club competition for the first time since the 1998/99 season.

FC Barcelona and Atletico de Madrid

Ticket Bureau, also as official Barça and Atletico de Madrid ticket agent, offers the opportunity to see the best football competition in the world at other great fields as well, such as the Camp Nou in Barcelona and the Vicente Calderon in Madrid. The renewed FC Barcelona of Luis Enrique Martínez will play in Group F against Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax, and APOEL Nicosia, in a group which the matches between Barça and the French team will be the key games. Buy now your official FC Barcelona vs PSG tickets; on 30/09 in Paris and on 10/12 in Barcelona. Messi against Ibrahimovic… You won’t want to miss it!
Atletico de Madrid, skillfully led by Diego Simeone, faces the challenge of repeating (or, why not?, surpassing) the great 2013/14 season, in which they took home the Spanish League, and made it to the Champions League final, no less. Diego Costa has gone to Chelsea, but The Colchoneros, as they are nicknamed, have made up for it with another world-class striker, Mario Mandzukic. They will need his goals to make it through the first stage, in which they will meet Juventus, Olympiacos and Malmö in Group A.

We have almost three months of competition ahead of us, and 96 matches to decide which teams continue on their way towards glory (the first two of each group), which ones can continue on the goal of winning a continental title in the Europa League (the third team of each group), and which teams have to say goodbye to the international competition (the last teams of each group), at least, until next season.

You can already find here your tickets for the Champions League Final on June 6 at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
On September 16 the wait will finally be over: the UEFA Champions League is coming back, which means the best football is coming back. Buy your tickets for Champions League matches from Ticket Bureau and secure the best tickets from an official agent.
