Kansas City Chiefs

Lamar Hunt was the founder of the Chiefs, and Dallas their first home in 1960. The Municipal Stadium of Kansas City became its second and last home in 1963, though they moved to the Arrowhead Stadium under the name of the Kansas City Chiefs, a name chosen through a contest among their fans, which constitute the most loyal supporters in all the NFL. On Red Friday, the Friday before the Chiefs' opening games, the fans wear red clothes and dye the city fountains red. Quarterback Len Dawson was awarded with the MVP during the Super Bowl won by the Chiefs in 1970. Trumpeter Tony DiPardo, who passed away in January 2001, used to play for fans during the Chiefs home games.
