Judas Priest entered the heavy metal music world in the year 1974 with the release of their album titled Rocka Rolla. The band started playing hard rock with a shade of progressive rock; however, over the years, they also experimented with glam rock and glam metal. Inspired by Black Sabbath, the band recorded 13 albums with their original members, until the year 1988, when their lead vocalist, Rob Halford, left the mythical group, which continued recording and offering concerts around the world. After a 17-year absence, in 2005, Halford returned to Judas Priest to record their album called Angel of Retribution, which was followed by Nostradamus.
