Golden State Warriors

From 1946 to 1962, the Philadelphia Warriors, founded by Eddie Gottlieb (member of the Hall of Fame) played at the Philadelphia Arena and Convention Hall. The team relocated to San Francisco in 1962, keeping its Warrior name but changing the city, not to San Francisco, but to California's state nickname reminiscent of the Golden Gate Bridge: the final name for this basketball team was Golden State Warriors. They have changed their home arena four times: the Cow Palace, the San Francisco Civic Auditorium, the War Memorial Gymnasium and the San Jose Arena. Now a days they play at the ORACLE Arena. In all their history they have won several titles, and their first Championship was in 1858. Stephen Curry, who arrived to the Warriors in 2010, is a 22 years genius that won the World Championship with Turkey; he finished second for the Rookie of the Year voting.
